Dynamic Learners

I  earned my bachelor of science degree at Southwest Texas State  University in Education.  As a certified EC-12 Special Education  teacher, I taught for over twelve years as an elementary special  education teacher.  I was honored as Elementary Teacher of the Year on  my campus, Bay Colony Elementary of Dickinson ISD and Walmart Teacher of  the Year.  After retirement, I became certified as a home insurance  agent for Coastal Bay Insurance, Co. in Dickinson, Texas.  For several  years, I served as a director for the Dickinson ISD Education Foundation  (DEF) and was recognized  by DEF as Community Member of the Year in  2024.   I strongly believe in and support teachers and the development  of exceptional educational programs for all children and adults.
